Cardi B. Pays Homage To Iconic R&B Group

Rap artist Cardi B paid homage to R&B group TLC at her debut performance at Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival on Sunday of weekend one.

Peep her inspiration.

As reported by The Press-Enterprise "TLC is a female R&B trio that made waves in the 1990s and part of the early 2000s. The trio includes singers Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas as well as the late rapper Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes, who died in a car accident in 2002.

Donning all white outfits, which included mid-’90s era baggy pants and chunky shoes, Cardi B and her dancers looked like they stepped straight out of a 1996 R&B performance.

She even had the iconic pigtail style that TLC rapper Lisa Lopes, better known as Left Eye, often wore."
