This is a crazy story. Chase, His Father and his 4 year old sister Abigail took a boat out on the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. At one point Abigail fell off the boat and the Father had to jump in and save her and they got caught in the current. That's when Chase's Dad told Chase to swim to shore to get some help.
Thankfully Chase was able to swim to shore and find someone to help them and they called 911.
Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson Eric Prosswimmer said they “couldn’t ask for a better outcome.”
“We had every resource we could have possibly had coming quickly,” he said, “and we’re happy to say all three have been recovered, and all three are doing well.”
