It's been a rough Summer for Ellen! There have been so many allegations against her and the workplace environment at the Ellen DeGeneres show!
Since then an investigation has been launched into the show, they show let go of a few high up producers and Ellen even addressed the situation with a statement.
There were even rumors that Ellen would quit her show. However the show is continuing and today is the Season 18 premiere and Ellen addressed the situation in her monolouge
She did address the rumors that Ellen is not really the person you see on tv! But she said
"I am that person that you see on TV. I am also a lot of other things. Sometimes I get sad. I get mad. I get anxious. I get frustrated. I get impatient. And I am working on all of that. I am a work in progress."
She ended her message by saying she hopes the show can
"still be a place of happiness and joy" moving forward. "I am committed to making this the best season that we have ever had."
