George Floyd’s brother, Philonise has filed to trademark Floyd’s name for a nonprofit organization.
The George Floyd Foundation will allow downloadable material for mobile phones that will educate on police reform and will feature documentaries, audio and video files, as well as DVDs about George.
If Philonise is awarded the trademark, he’ll be able to put the name on T-shirts and other merchandise for sale.
