113-year-old Maria Branyas, the oldest living woman in Spain is now the oldest living person to survive coronavirus.Â
Maria was born in San Francisco in March of 1907 and has lived through Spanish flu that killed nearly 50 million people.Â
Maria has been living in a Spanish care home for two decades, and while seventeen people in the same nursing home have passed from coronavirus, Branyas is apparently the only supercentenarian to survive.Â
People over 70 are considered at risk from coronavirus along with people with underlying health conditions.Â
