Rico Nasty's Unapologetic Climb To The Top With New Mixtape

A cross between hardcore rap and 90’s punk has become the bread and butter for Maryland female rapper, Rico Nasty. Her popularity sparked in 2017 with her first album “Tales of Tacobella” and quickly after that, she became an artist to watch once her cover art for “Nasty” released in 2018 which became her most streamed album to date. The artist recently announced that she will be releasing another mixtape called “Anger Management” produced by longtime collaborator Kenny Beats and it was dropped on April 25th. The graphic art of the record was done by Keith Rankin and the eclectic colorful display of songs perfectly match Rico’s energy as a self-defining artist who doesn’t desire to fit in just one genre of music.

Rico Nasty has multiple musical alter-egos and she generally banks on her rage to produce chart-topping records. The Atlantic record represented artist utilizes samples of nostalgia that includes Jay-Z's “Dirt Off Your Shoulder” which makes for an instant hit as the mixtape reaches the top 10 list on Apple Music. Rico Nasty is soaring new heights with her newly produced record which also features artists: Baauer, Splurge, and Earthgang. Rico’s music relates very much so to her ever-changing looks as an experimental dresser who loves color and grunge.

The 21-year-old musician has proved herself as not just a rapper but also a multi-talented phenomenon who continues to change the standardized image of female artists today. Rico’s loud energy and electrifying personality ooze through her very opinionated verses as her smart-mouthed lyrics and unmatched flow relentlessly ring in the ears of her fans globally and many are eagerly waiting for what is to come next…
