Beyoncé is being sued by the family of a New Orleans rapper and Youtube star who is no longer with us.
Messy Mya's estate claims that Bey used lyrics from his 2010 song "A 27 Piece Huh?" for her own gain, with them showing up throughout her hit song "Formation".
Since the song has gone on to reach Gold certification and Bey has made quite a bit of money off the both the song and the tour by the same name, the estate is asking for $20,000,000 in back royalties and other damages...
Damn.
