Derek Chauvin, Officer Charged in George Floyd's Death Released On $1M Bond

Former Minneapolis police officer, Derek Chauvin is officially out on bail.

Chauvin, the man responsible for the killing of George Floyd was released from Oak Park Heights prison in Minnesota after posting a $1 million bond.

The ex-cop will now be able to wait for his trial outside of prison. Chauvin's trial is currently scheduled for scheduled for March. For more on the story from ABC7 click here.
